Niagara,
I have this mysterious rattling noise coming from my drivers side front wheel. When I drive over a bump it makes a rattling noise. When I go over a bump and hold my brake pedal down lightly, I don't hear a thing. I recently upgraded my brakes and the pads and didnt see anything unusual when we installed them. I have had this problem for a while, and I can't figure it out. I was under my car and nothing was loose. I can't seem to think of what it might be. I'm no wiz when it comes to suspension parts and components, so if anyone has any thoughts on what it might be, please let me know. Thanks in advance!

Its a 2g NT by the way...

I would recheck your pads and what not.

Make sure the pads are where they are supposed to be and all the bolts or bolt i should say are in place. (You really only have to remove one to flip up the caliber).

I had the same thing on my car. It's just the brake pads rattling. you probably either forgot to install the thin metal plate that prevents the rattling/movement of the pad or you misinstalled it. Either way, easy fix and nothing to worry about.

In my case, i had forgotten to put it back on after a brake job and i drove the car like this for months before i got sick of the sound :)
