Been looking for a 1g or 2g awd dsm for awhile now and i ran across this ad. I know it needs alot of paint work and needs a rebuild, but i talked him down to 400 bucks and i just cant find any half decent awd dsm's in my area for under 4k. I think this could be a fun project and my father owns a body shop and a mechanic shop. Im 28 btw and im pretty decent at working on stuff and what i dont know my father def does.

400 $ I think that I'd jump on it as long as the underbody rust isn't bad. The body looks rough in the pictures but it looks like it needs washed hard to tell if there's really any dents. But it's really hard to say from the pictures you really need to go in person and decide for yourself. For 400 I think it's well worth the gamble that's dirt cheap, if it's junk you may get a few hundred from junking it

Yea im def gonna go check it out and im in texas so rust isnt nearly as bad down here, but ill def check it over very well before i buy it. Thanks

Car looks pretty rough! I wouldn't buy it. If you do decide to buy make sure your committed to it especially when you know it's going to need a lot of tlc. I'm almost done with mine and it was a... pain, especially with no help. Better have enough elbow grease

that blue one i think you guys are under estimating. the body lines are all straight, the glass is good, the wheels look to be in good shape. i would go look it over for rust on the towers, and lowball the tar out of the guy. at even 400$ i think it is a builder, not a parts car. (interior site unseen, decision depended on rust)
