Things i did to my dsm today... got pissed off... got a wild hair... looked at evo... . called bank... got approved.... now puting dsm up for sale.

2300, no lower. car needs paint job. if it doesn't get a sale within 1 month i begin the part out.

because 20 year old parts cost more than the monthly payment would be to keep the car together.

The evo i saw in his neighborhood was barely running but only on 3 cylinders sounded like the famous Subaru gurgling exhaust
Yep, then multiply that number by two because there's another Evo in that neighborhood running like shit.

:dsm:

That's cause new evo owners think they are bad ass, but if you upgrade from a dsm you know what to do to keep them running....

Basically it comes down to prior dsm'ers using ky during molestation and those that jump into evo to be cool use no lube.... which puts up a fight first?

how many of those evo's were stock + exhaust and intake? because thats all the one i'm going to get will have... yes even if that means demodding it.

That true having the dsm experience is a good start. I saw those evo's and kris house to. Didn't one have like a huge cb wing?

both of them are stock with intake and exhaust. both of them have had me look at them and I have told them what is wrong. 1 has a SAFC wired in that doesnt get power and is using some garbage platinum iridium plugs. with the un functioning SAFC there is no maf signal and it runs like a turd which i believe fuel washed his cylinders and killed the rings lossing compression in the #1 cylinder. hmmm now that i think about it both evos have a #1 cylinder not firing. the other is because he rebuilt it and had 90 psi worth of compressiion in the #1 cylinder. and he drives it like a doucher

so the final ratio is 2 dead evo's: 1 bad ass working dsm and many others that come in hold down my concrete i improve or fix and they leave a few days later. its sort of like dsm boot camp

hahahahaa...LOL.... you forgot to mention that Paul walker also stops by once in awhile to ask for hook ups on fender rolling. Marines kill nice cars on a regular, perfect example was my buddy bought a new sti within 4 month traded it back in to dealer with blown engine. car couldn't take all the awesomeness from the ebay gt35r and his mad tuning skills.
but watch in a few short years evos will be all over the place for cheap with blown engines.
then we can all be jdm ass###.

well i picked up an evo,

05, bone stock, 68k miles, unsure if there has been a timing belt job done so i'll be doing that soon. but aside from that... the car is getting the speakers from my dsm installed and i'm finished with it ( for at least 6 months )

Fuel pump, 1200ccs, cams, e85 tune. 400 wheel and done.

edit: Gufi, pics or it didn't happen LOL

does "things Kris did to my dsm" qualify for this thread?
He installed stainless brake lines and we found a bunch of boost leaks and fixed them.
Car is running and stopping much better now.

body and paint are next!

Nice car Gufi, gratz

Hey guys, your absouletly right about the price on the evo's. I currently have a 3000gt and a eclipse gst and I am defintely looking at getting a evo next as well, just because they are fairly priced and newer cars than what I normally have to mess with. Which means less rust or no rust :) I'm sure you guys in cali wouldn't know anything about that though :banghead:

out with the old and in with the new.
