It will look great when you get it painted and find some stock fog lights.

thanks it was kind of bi*** of a swap, but then again I am a terrible "mechanic".

I bought some stock 2gb fog lights but didn't get the bezels, so those are on order now.

The 14b with all the piping, lines and gaskets are on the way as well. :D

oh and I put the passenger seat back in the car so no more back seat stretched out chauffeur rides LOL

It was a good weekend for the car, now just need to get that hood on.

dunt dunt dunt.... another one bites the dust, and another one gone and another one gone another one bites the dust hey hey!!

nah. more or less pending though. it is in pieces already though. and if no one comes to pick up the body once all the decent pieces are out of it i'm taking a sawzall to the body and sending it to the scrappers.

This! ^^^. LOL Just make sure you post pictures.

I think, once I make te move to Phoenix and make my DSM a weekend driver/track car, I'm going to Sawz-All the roof and put in a full cage. Weight savings mod since I suck at driving. Hah.

Finished installation and waxed the VIS carbon hood/hatch I got from James a few weeks ago. I cringe thinking about putting holes in the hatch to bolt up my spoiler but it's got to be done, not sure when my nuts will drop to do it though. Soon!

gotta put the vinyl back on the roof..

finally tuned my car a little bit. im running it on the rich side to be safe till i install the fmic. but 14 psi feels really good and if i break boost i can now make all 14 psi at 2800rpm with a 16g. super happy with my setup and thanks to juan ill be installing the cyclone intake manifold soon so i can make 15 psi at 2500rpm LOL

It's the OE glass in the hatch and it still weighs quite a bit, need to get some Speed Glass in there if I want to drop serious weight out of the hatch. Mike, the wing I have is black/red similar to what the Evo's wing is stock, half carbon fiber and half color matched to the car.

Above is the Photo Shopped plan and I already drilled the holes in the hatch to accept the spoiler, everything lines up. Drilling through that CF made me a bit sick to my stomach since I wasn't 110% certain I was doing it right. :barf:
Before I install the spoiler on the nice CF hatch I ordered a set of spoiler gaskets that will keep out water and protect the mating surfaces, keeping them from rubbing.

I also installed my new Innovate MTX-L wideband (thanks Chris!) and set it up to log in Link. The log and the gauge match, something that will take sometime to get used to since that wasn't the case with the AEM.

Also, installed the Eclipse front end and attempting to resolve this splitter sag issue that I've come across.

Still need to make some progress on this new radiator setup I've got, just need to get a few things welded on the t-stat housing and I'll be in business.

Looking good Corey. Still dunno how the hell you keep that car so damn clean. Just defy's my own logic...

Btw driving 200 + miles in one shot in an evo with no cruise control sucks.

that being said, i'm ordering a cruise control unit tomorrow, K thx.

Thanks Brian. I concur, I drove my 2g from Colorado to California, only stopping for gas, without cruise control and towards the end of the trip I recruited my left foot for gas pedal duties.

Does Mitsu make a CC unit for the Evo's now or is it an aftermarket that functions like OEM?

On the 8s and 9s I believe it is aftermarket that you have to get for cruise.... unless you want to go 3rd party and just use a brick or cane

He'll I would have sold you my spyder for 3500 LOL but that would be nice for 4k
