So i searched the forum but no real luck im looking into buying an exhaust for my 98 eclipse GST Da Beast: 98 Eclipse GST - Chantilly, Virginia and i was interested in the thermal exhaust my problem is that the only pics ive seen hav been with the 5in tip but i can only find the exhaust with a 4in tip for sale. Does anybody hav any pics of the 4in tip or anywhere where i can find one with a 5in tip.
Does anyone have any other suggestions for exhaust i was looking into a Greddy Ti-c what do you all think?

My opinion is dont spend $600+ on a cat back. Look for a used thermal if your going to buy one and the greddy ti-c is way to damn expensive. I got a full turbo back apexi for less than $600 shipped.

5" tip WTF...do yourself a favor and stick with the 4". GReddy makes a decent kit and so does HKS. Or you can pick up a muffler off ebay if you want to go cheap and have one made...

well i can get both the greddy or the thermal for under $600 i lik the way the 5" tip fills in the little exhaust gap in the bumper in my gst im sure id be happy with the 4in tip i jus want to see pics. I love the sound of the thermal exhaust though:thumb:

I have the Thermal exhaust with the 5'' tip and it doesn't look that big just because of the large muffler gap in our bumpers. BUT the Thermal design makes it easy to weld on a new tip because after the muffler there is about a 3'' diameter pipe before the 5'' tip:dsm:

I'd def like to pick up the GSX kit, how much do they run about?

Check out ExtremePSI: EXTREME PSI : Your #1 Source for In Stock Performance Parts

The two Thermal systems are at the bottom of the page. You can pick up either system for a sub $600 price tag.

Also, I'm not sure if you've done a swap or have another AWD car but, due to the fuel tank, it won't be possible to put the AWD system on your spyder. All models of Talons/Eclipses, aside from the AWD's, have a standard tank. AWD models have saddlebag tanks.

If you look at the pictures of both systems, you'll notice the difference in the midsection pipe. One is bent and the other is not. That's your give away for which system is designated to one car or the other.

No problem, here check these out. This is the 5 inch tip.

Thermal R&D is the best exhaust i've ever owned. Sounds amazing at an idle, crusin, or when i'm at the track. I would only buy that exhaust for a dsm, well worth the money. Plus the systems are alot cheaper than they used to be!

I have one on my car. I like it a lot, it has a deep tone and it looks good, but i think that im going to get another angled can, like an N1.
