Those of you bashing Honda radiators have literally no idea what you're talking about. They're often used in higher hp larger turbo cars for fitment issues. Do a search on here or on the Link forums and you'd be surprised by what cars are running Honda or Scirocco half-sized radiators. Now, as to why a 14b car is running a half rad, that's a better question. The first car doesn't seem like a bad setup, it more strikes me as a car that was started with a lot of supporting mods and was never finished. The second car is pure rice though.

Never bashed on Honda parts broski, the fact that he mentioned it had me laughing. Mishimoto half rads have been used on several cars and those are almost always made for Honda fitments, but he started mentioning off all sorts of parts, what its tuned to and running yet he has a stock side mount. That's what I find funny, not bashing on shit else LOL.

I had a Honda radiator in my old DSM and its not Honda parts we bash its the known fact that Hondas make 25hp from every sticker you put on it... and another 50 hp for the giant wing. Clearly our DSMs are equipped to face off the 2550 HP hondas on the road... :shhh: ROFL but on a more serious note craigslist beats owning a tvROFL:D
 
The first add disgusted me, why wont he trade that car for junk, it is obviously junk itself... I hope a kid doesn't get screwed for it man LOL, the fact he even mentioned a Honda part just screams "All these mods are bullshit." There is NO way in hell that he has more than maybe 4-5k invested in this if the mentioned parts are real, let alone his mentioned 10k. Btw, did you guys notice he has a stock side mount LOL.

The car does have every one of those parts on it. and ive spent 4-5k on the long block and trans. You suck at math :). Cool yes the car still has the stock sidemount but i bet my 14b car makes more power then your car :).

The car has a honda half rad because i was building a forward facing 14b car. Some people are just ####ing retarded and dont now how to build a fast car... My 14b car would shit on most of the idiots that post shit on this forum.

Lmao, i just noticed the car doesnt even have the half rad on it in the picture.

I just deleted the ad from craigslist because i dont want anyone to know the mods on the car. Looks like ill just have to take it to the shoot out this year and beat on all the slow ass 16g cars :).

Saying you make more power than either of my cars is just stupid, specially since you don't know the amount of time and money I've spent on my GSX. And another thing, 26-30 pounds on a 14B and using a stock side mount and getting no knock is just lulz. Ty for the laugh.

I wouldn't mess with Hubble, from that pic, it looks like he works out with 55lb dumb bells, he might be DIESEL LOL, but it looks like he just uses the weight bench to hold dsm parts. Mine just collects dust.

No it's not that crazy. LOL

There would be NO lag with the sidemount. A large frontmount with a 14b would make that turbo so LAGGY it'd probably almost feel NA. Now, do I believe 26-30psi with no heat soak issues. Probably not.. That's a common issue with people, swapping these HUGE FMIC's with a "big" turbo. 14b's are known to hold up to mid 300's. However, it would make more sense to just do 20lbs on a 16g.. LOL Supra sidemounts make more sense that a huge FMIC.

My FMIC on my 14b car had no lag what so ever. Unless you have maybe 3"+ IC piping, your spool up should still be quick, unless your car runs like ass.

The Supra's stock SMIC is much thicker than a stock dsm SMIC. This allows better heat dissipation. I believe they have a larger core surface as well, and i think the inlet and outlet pipes are already 2.5" too. My Supra SMIC worked great on my talon with a 14b and a 16g.
 
Ahhhh. I see! ;D That actually looks fun!

Too bad I need a new UIP..=/ This would mean hacking the body a little, and purchasing one hard UIP to do this upgrade, and a new one for when I upgrade to a larger turbo and a FMIC. D;

I bet he got that aftermarket after he paid aftermarket for it at the aftermarket. God Damn. With all that aftermarket upgrade stuff, that thing must be aftermarket fast. I mean, how could an aftermarket car get so sweet looking and so fast? It's so aftermarket its aftermarket!

I bet you'd never find those custom aftermarket parts on any other aftermarket car...Not even at the aftermarket...which has it's own website at aftermarket.com

Maybe I should be a little more specific about what i'm trying to say, because I do agree with you.

People assume that the "Biggest" fmic is the best, which in most cases will create lag on most stock turbos.

Many people also overlook the stock sidemount and assume they need something much larger, when, infact they do not.

They are 65lb dumb bells, and i do use the bench. I just put the shit on the bench to take the pic.
