Check www.plymouthlaser.com I am pretty sure there is a faq in there for testing the selonoids. That is where I found out so it should be there.
Keep in mind that if you have to replace them that IPT has selonoids with certain resistors built in to help firm the shifts/help responsivness. I have these installed in my car....can't really say if I notice "just them" in particular cause the rest of the tranny is fully built too. But my tranny shifts awesome and snappy EVERY time and I am sure that the "resisted seloniods" help.
Anyhow, check that site and you might find what you need. Also, sometimes it is best to test them out of the car so you can listen to the stroke of the plunger inside each seloniod....Hey John, any help here?

What symptom is it that you have that is leading you to think that the solenoids have a problem?

Mitsubishi solenoids are generally very reliable.

I had no foward gears, but I tested the solenoids and they both work but I found out that 1st gear is gone all the other gears work. I put the car in a lift I switch the two solenoids on and i step on the accelerator the wheels barely move I hit second and the wheels started spining I hit third it work and fourth work. I am going to take of the pan and check the filter and valve body.
