What size belt/part number do I need to do a tensioner pulley delete. My belt keeps sliding off onto the outer pulley lip leaving one of the ribs unfilled on my crank pulley. The tensioner pulley is also somehow misaligned and scraping against the bracket housing when I put tension on the belt.
I Just "fixed" a hiccup with my tensioner bolt so I know that it's affecting it, but can't figure out exactly why.

Here is the one I used. Shortly after, my bolt holding the side motor mounts broke. So I would grab a stronger grade bolt (10.8) for that mount, since your going to be using the power steering bracket to tighten the belt now.

A tip for future reference, use one of the flexible measuring tapes. Like the ones that folks use to measure their waist diameter. Wrap it around the pulleys and pull it tight. That will tell you what length you need. Then just count the ribs and order accordingly. Dayco makes it really easy to find the right belt, and I'm sure other manufacturers use a similar part number system. This is the method I used to find which belts I needed for my built 420A. My application was a little different since I also deleted the air conditioning and was using a Modern Performance crankshaft pulley.

Here's an extremely detailed PDF to download that will help you with the correct belt applications. You'll notice a trend, with the length and rib count being most of the part number. Clicking this will instantly trigger the download.

Here's the sizes I used for my particular application.
