Need some help identifying a part. I have this piece that threads into the water neck just below the thermostat. The end that screws in is solid (no holes through it). The other end has 2 plastic nipples for vacuum lines (no wires). I broke the 2 nipples off and need to replace it. A friend thought it was a temperature switch. He said when it heats up, it blocks the airflow. Is this correct? I am trying to figure out what to ask for when I go into the autoparts store, since they are usually very little help. I looked online at some autoparts sites, and couldn't find anything that looks like this. Any ideas?
Thanks
