I've used the search and didn't locate anything really.

When i went to look at the gst we are going to buy, i used my analog meter set on 10 dcv. The needle just kept going all the way up then right back down. Just kept doing that. Does that probably mean the tcu is bad? The guy says the car has all gears sometimes and others only 3rd. Any help is appreciated! Sorry if i should have search more or tried using different words.

No gears at all

Im thinking the trans is shot. Revved high and it slammed into gear then would move back and forwards. But right after that it started making noise bad. Like metal hitting or maybe a stripped input shaft?

Check the selctor is set right. There's a little circle on top of the selector itself. Loosen the nut on the cable and line the two holes up lever/selector. Then put the shifter/cable in neutral and tighten the nut.
But it sounds like the pump is broke! PM me I can fix it for you if you can't/don't wanna do it.

just took the tcu out to open it up and have a peak at it. Thing looks brand new. I don't see anything abnormal about it.
