1G Talon turbo questions

Hey everyone thanks in advance for the help.
Restoring a 1g talon that had been sitting for 20 years.
1. Do I need to drain the oil to remove the turbo?
2. Is there a difference between turbos in the automatic and manual transmissions in the talon TSI?

1) You don't HAVE to drain the oil but you will get some leakage out of the oil pan from the turbo oil-drain hole. Depends on how much oil you put into the engine.
2) I believe the automatics had a 13b and manuals had a 14b?

Manual- 14b, even wheel, 43mm
