Talon halo headlight fitment issues?

I just got a set of used halos from another member. They came off his 95 gsx and he is doing the 2gb conversion so he sold me his old ones. I was putting them on my 97 tsi but as I was putting the bumper back on I noticed a gap in the corners of both headlights. I was under the impression that the 2g talon headlights didn't change over the years and that the 95 or 96 eclipse headlights would fit without any issues. From the pictures he sent me there weren't any gaps when they were on his 95 eclipse so I don't know what the issue is on my talon. Anyone have any input on this?

they should be exactly the same, atleast that's what a lot of dsm owners have told me. I'm very curious now to see if this is true because I'm going to put my 97 talon bumper on my 96.

anyone else have the correct info on this?

there is a small differance between the 95-96 and the 97-99 the 95/96 are a little more rounded and the 97/99 are more pointed.

pretty sure we're talking about talon headlights, not eclipse like you're referring to. to the best of my knowledge, the talon headlights do not change from 95 through 98. 95 eclipse headlights are the same as 95(-98) talon headlights, or atleast I thought all of this was correct.

can anyone confirm this?


and yes, btw 95 eclipse/talon headlights are different than 97-99 eclipse headlights.
