taking out intercooler

I need to check my intercooler for oil. I tooke off all the bolts/ screws i saw but it seems like its bolted in the back too. Do i have to take the front bumber off to get at it? Anyone have a diagram? Thanks.

yea cause if you want to do a serious engine build you will want all that stuff someday anyway i keep extra shit in my garage even though its not on my car just in case i need them bolts j pipes bumper supports headlights fog lights external wastegates manifolds w.e even though i dont use them its good to have stuff around less you have to buy in the future all of that stuff will also be a good jump for you with the intake pipe and turbo alone just do not buy the second turbo you posted it will most likely give out within a few weeks if that and just make sure you get the jpipe and the oil feed and return lines for the 16g unless the first one already comes with them

Yeah, i talked to the guy it comes with all that stuff, but that's a good deal price wise for all that stuff?

oh nice then yea id say its a decent deal for it all getting all the extra prices and a turbo in good shape because if you buy just the turbo its about anywhere from 200 to 300 for the mhi one depending on who you get it from blah blah plus if you buy the install kit from sbr witch i think its like 200 or something for the install kit i havnt checked in a while but i think its around there which is about 4 to 500 right there plus the intake and all the other stuff so seems like a decent deal and you will get it all at once

and no problem man everyone starts somewhere and everyone needs help once in a while

Thanks, are those extras really worth it, or should i just get the turbo for 350? I'm just got this car from my sister, and i'm new to this stuff.

If that is a true Sleeper 16G than there is no doubt in my mind i would buy it now and get all the extra crap. If it is just an average everyday evo316G than I would probably not pay more than 350 for it unless it comes with the oil & coolant lines. If he can prove it is a SLEEPER 16G than buy it. If not, than I would pass and buy a brand new one from FP while they are selling them for $499.

PS: You can always rig up your t25 coolant and oil return lines to work if you don't want to buy the mistu install kit. However, there is no way to get around the j-pipe and SS oil feed line.

haha yea i agree with jimmer you can def rig up the lines but if hes giving them to you then take them but make sure he proves its the sleeper 16g from fp before you spend 775 on it
