Taillight fuse keeps popping.

My taillight fuse keeps blowing every time i turn the lights on. I've been searching for days and cant seem to find anything. I by-passed my dimmer switch, ruling that out. Checked all in my radio area, fixed a few wires that looked like they could contribute to a problem, unplugged all my taillight bulbs, and checked my relay.

Still nothing. I dont know what else to try.

Totally random, but check down in the cigarette lighter. I had a vehicle that would blow that fuse and there was a dime in mine. I don't smoke and never even thought to look there.

Thanks guys, but I finally figured it out. The idiot that had the car before me wired up the halo's on the headlights badly. The green/white wire and ground were touching...

That sucks, he must have wired it to the running lights the blinker side of the headlight?

I had the same exact problem a while back and my problem was the lights on the front bumper, the little parking lights or whatever they are... bulb was broken and rusted to hell I actually noticed the wires smoking from the front cause i just put a wire where the fuse was suppose to go... not the smartest move but I found what caught on fire and fixed it

Yep. they were spliced into the side bumper lights (whatever their called..)
