I have a T60-1 turbo on my fwd 1g.How much boost can i run safely for only having 2g internals in my 1g? If someone could read my veicle profile and veiw my supporting mods and let me know what a good setting would be.Im getting alot of lag and i know im running the turbo well below its efficiency range(about 12psi is all right now).i didnt want to crank it up and pay for it later.I also have a 50 trim i can bolt in if needed.

1.21 Jigawatts is safe...
Just kidding...seriously though, I think you need to re-evaluate why you have that turbo. If you were able to tune properly you could take that turbo pretty far on stock internals.
Oh, just out of curiousoty, how are you tuning those 720s with only an AFC? No wonder you're getting pretty crappy low end, and not to mention you say it's BB...

why do these questions come up every day? 12psi is a bit out of efficency range. Why did you buy that turbo if you dont have the supporting mods? You people never seem to amaze me

there is a difference between "supporting" mods and "maximizing" mods. just cause i dont have a stand alone and internals built doesnt meen i cant run a bigger turbo.i have plenty of supporting mods to run this turbo.the reason i only have it at 12psi is that i didnt know how far to crank it up.im not one of those idiot kids that puts a big turbo on w/o mods and cranks it to 30 psi.Im doing my research 1st so i dont make a costly mistake like some people i know have.constructive critisism is fine.im not in it to run 10's. i just want to have a decently fast car.

from before....yes there is a walbro 255lph in there.
thanks to anyone that helps me out!!

im planning on getting maft for my car in blow through soon. but the afc seems to be alright for tuning the 720's so far, but i know i will need more fuel management if i wanna go really high boost.thats why i havent turned it up high.

I personally think you are much better off putting that 50 trim back in. If you're not after serious power and only want a decently fast car, why would you need a 60-1.
We can't truly answer your question about psi, but I can tell you I wouldn't push it too much if not at all...

my PTE 50 trim is brand new. still in packaging wrap. i didnt know if i would be better off using the t60-1 or buying the rest of my setup to go with the 50 trim.thanks for the info.i really appreciate it

50-trim for your needs. You actually need to run 20+ psi, more like 25-28 psi to really use that turbo. Maximizing the setup for that 50-trim would be my recommendation. A very big mistake of people is going with a turbo that is too big. They may make a lot of peak power, but if they are not reving to 9K then their powerband is usually crap. A big powerband is well worth the loss in peak power trust me. :thumb:

I looked at your info.....

revhard T4 manifold???? Am I on a honda Forum???? OMG

I have the 50 trim and when I turn it up, I will be maxing out my internals, so I say, put on the 50 trim, better for a fwd and it will still make over 400hp if tuned right.

yes it is a revhard T4 manifold. go to their website to see it yourself. it a very thick cast manifold that will never crack.it is the only dsm part they make to my knowledge.

I'm assuming that those machined rods are 1G rods. If they are 1G rods
about 20psi is all I would recomend on pump gas. Race gas you can run this turbo
and the motor to 30psi no problem. With some tunning, a lot of tunning.

Leave the 60-1 in you'll love the highway with this thing. Cams?
