Alright well i picked this car up a few weeks ago.. Got it extremly cheap cause it had a simple no start issue.

Well anyways i was told it was a stock t25.. Which made me wonder why they would put a front mount on such a lame turbo..
And looking into it more i was under the impression that the t25 pointed down?
my piping is bolted to the top right next to the exhaust manifold. I think its long route piping because it comes from the right and goes over the exh man.

I am not too familiar with upgrades on these car,, I owned a 1g awd that was bone stock. And now this gst.

i looked for other pictures to see if this is a t25 or what?? I guess my question is, Is this turbo the stock t25 or do you think its different? Ill run to storage first thing in the morning to snag pics.

Thanks

Are you sure it's a t25?

^This is a t25.

As for the FMIC, for some, it's more of a "looks good" mod even though they don't need it, they like to feel big and mighty :p

Well i havent gotten a chance to look at it really.. imma walk over to my storage unit and check it out today..

If they did it for looks they failed LOL the welds on the pipes are soooo bad

edit: i was just curious because i havent seen a fmic mounted like this one

and i figured the piping would connect under the turbo

i was told it was a stock t25 but who knows anymore

Like pip said, get a pic. Because i bet he is thinking what i may be thinking. Chance it could be a t28 rather then t25.

Edit : just saw the car is a 92. Most likely it is a stock 14b rather then a t25 as one would generally not put one on a car that didnt come stock t25. And you said the piping comes from the top, could be the j pipe for the 14b. But pics would help.

I got a FP Big 28 with a Punishment Racing FMIC, i use the ETS piping for T25/T25.

Here some pics:

Sorry this isnt the original car on my profile. Its a 97 gst. And i looked at it more and i believe its a 14b.. i could not take any pictures because it has been literally pouring here for the past 3 days =\

i paid 1100 for this car because it wasnt starting due to a short in the ignition wire going through the old aftermarket alarm being dead.. But someone has put a decent amount of money into the car it seem
s.

Tokico suspension all the way around, Injen intake, fairly new radiator, 3 inch thermal r and d, some very nice reverse indigo gauges and an autometer boost gauge.

im really glad it doesnt have that garbage t25 on it LOL

i cannot take pictures yet its been pouring rain here and i am out of town.. but i talked to the original owner and he still insists its a t25.. i think hes an idiot.

but non the less 14b or 16g, they are both better than the t25. i think im going to just throw the car on craigslist and see what i can get out of it and pick up another awd
