T25 Turbo Rebuild Parts

Is this all I need to rebuild a 2g t25 turbo?

Also the guy said the turbo has minimum side to side play but in and out

Wrong kit- that's for a Nissan T25. Journal bearings are different width.

If your turbo has significant in/out play, trust me...it's junk. You'd be wise to start shopping for a replacement.

Replace the entire rotating assembly, or the entire CHRA. You'll have more money in buying it one part at a time and getting it rebalanced than just buying a CHRA and dropping it in.

You'll find out why once you remove the compressor cover and see how much of the compressor wheel is ground away from rubbing the cover.

my budy got a used small 16g for 320.

Everyone's goals are different- to someone who may only be looking for a stock replacement and not an upgrade, a new T25 CHRA with a warranty sounds much more-enticing than a used 16G from an unknown source for the same money.

Honestly why would you rebuild a t25? Just get a diff turbo. But if you really must have a t2-trash then they're found for less than 100 bucks.

I'ed have to agree with Grey here. If you need/want another turbo and "the" guy said it had a little front and back, you have better options. I ,like many, had my t-25 die on the car. Purchasing another t-25 goes for $90-$150. Even buying 2 (used) decent t25's for $100/each is cheaper than the replacement kits on ebay. I went up to the 14b, and will never look back at a t25.

More to the point, you could buy a better used/new turbo from JusMX and be better off dollar for dollar with his email support than other options available for the t-25.

i know its your money/life/choice, just trynna help.
