You tell 'em Kenny. I think it's all going to come down to the driver honestly. If mommy dearest doesn't get too excited and smoke 'em at the line, I think you're toast. If she lights up the rears, you could very well get a big enough gap off the line and take it. Just don't break it.

How much does mom weigh? You should make sure she eats really well between now and the race....also putting a few extra tires and a tool box or two in the trunk might help you out :)

This should be on a t.v. show. Good luck to you. Can't wait to see the video. Make sure you have someone experienced with a video camera shooting the video for you.

You can also pump the tires full of water... The extra weight and inevitable loss of solid traction from the bouncing would definently help.

:D

No, on second thought, don't do this. It'll probably damage the suspension, and I know from experience the handling goes to hell. This was a prank people would pull in Denver during the winter, though they only used a few ounces of water. It would freeze in the tire and make the car feel like it was about to fly apart from the shaking, then the ice would break free and sound like the engine just fell out of the car too. LOL

Hahaha people really do that?? how would they get the water in there? take out the valve stem and pump it in?

alot of people seem to like it if it has 80 comments and well over 1000 views ;)

How old are you to be posting lame ass threads like this? Anyone who knows anything knows that even if your mom is a shitty driver she is still going to lay waste to a 16 y/o gsx with next to no mods...

Good luck kid, you're definitely going to need it.

And BTW, I have a 95 gsx, as well so I'm not just on here hating.

You're definitely hating, so you're the one acting like a sad little kid. How old are you? Don't comment if you don't have something constructive to say. I know teenagers with pure rice who aren't as hating as you.

[to OP: waiting on results man, come on and get to the track already!]

I know i cant wait bro ive been dying to get back to it! and i dont get how the thread is lame? i figured it would be something fun to think about and see what people said thats why i made it, if it was stupid one of the few site moderators that commented on it would have deleted it by now thanks for your worries tho bud :thumb: atleast your rockin a 95 with me

Bad news guys.... i sold my gsx today i guy called with an offer i couldnt say no to, but i have about 5,000 to spend on a new one! i cant leave the dsm scene so i figured might as well get a bigger better faster one, thinking about getting a fully built gst and then converting it to awd over the summer with my dad, but if i can find a nice gsx ill grab one of those, BUT the race is still on, i just have to find another dsm that i like i think my mom is still gonna take the camaro to the track and ill get her on film running the car so we can see what were working with here :)

Yeah wtf? You had a low miles awd dsm but u sold it to get a gst? fail fail fail fail fail fail

I'm honestly surprised this thread hasn't been closed yet. Not only is it stupid but the title itself implies bench racing.
A GST or a GSX is going to get massacred by a 2011 Camaro, stock for stock. The 304hp V6 would probably win, an SS would wipe the floor with any t25 vehicle I've seen. I love these cars but I also live in reality.

Do you want me to upload pictures of how rusted out the car was? Midas wouldnt even put the car up on the lift because it was too rusted, not to mention it was in an accident and because of the rust the entire front end was shifted to the right and the frame was bent, bad compression in cylinder 1, the entire suspension was messed up, do you want me to keep going? needless to say that gsx was at the end of its road i highly doubt the miles are even actual it says they are but its too rusted to believe it, the entire engine bay was rotted out and had holes everywhere and the rear wheel wells were rotted out, im not stupid theres a reason i sold the car
