GVR-4 T-bolt clamp sizing

I need to replace the T-bolt clamps for the J-pipe to intercooler coupler on my Galant VR-4. It is an ETS FMIC.

I keep buying e-bay clamps but the bottom out (the 2 ends of the T-clamp meet) before things are tight enough.

This is an area of boost leaks for me historically.

How do I go about getting the right T-clamps? I have tried 3 inch 2.5 inch 2.25 inch, but things never turn out right.

I notice that clamps are not quantified in inches on ETS website but rather in MM? e.g. 263

Could this be my problem?

Also, how do I take measurements for generic T-bolt clamps?

Is it ID? OD? or OD when on the hard pipe?

One side of coupler is 2.25 inch ID 2.75 inch OD when measured off car.

Other side of coupler is 2.5 inch ID 3 inch OD when measured off car.

To convert from millimeter to inches multiply by .03937

So A 36mm ID clamp x .03937 = 1.417 inches

If you go to frozenboost.com it tells you what pipe size will be and what clamp and i uses their clamps they worked great and are cheap (they have almost any coupler you could want too for cheap)
