i just got back from installing my rre uicp with a 1g bov and now my boost levels spikes to 16 psi then drops off to 12 again. now my question is would a 17 psi wg actuator keep me from doing that? and would i need a new fuel pump? (rewire stock or 190lph) tomorrow im going to order a hard intake pipe, k&n filter, hard licp and probably the 17 psi actuator.

if your profile is updated id suggets a good manual boost controller. just dont expect that little t-25 to hold 16 or 17 psi to redline. if your going to turn up the boost and plan to run that consistantly i'd do fuel mods, have a logger and a SAFC to control everything.

i dont expect it to hold to redline but id think it should be capable of holding it to 4500-5500 rpm, maybe drop off alittle. but for me as soon as it hits 16 psi around 3200 rpm it instantly goes down to 12 psi. i plan on getting a mbc after i get the items i said before.

A t25 will not hold that kind of boost to redline, and you prob have a boost leak somewhere

Amen to that, definately test for boost leaks. A manual boost controller will help hold y you boost until the t-25 starts running out of breath...aka really quickly

That is normal. A T25 is not only known to drop off at higher rpms, it's also known to spike, what you're experiencing is the spiking part of the T25. In other words, once you install a mbc and set it to say 16psi, you will most likely spike to 19psi, leveled off at 16psi then drop to 14psi @5k+ rpm.

so the wg actuator wouldnt help then and instead i should get a mbc?

thanks alot, steve

Well I just installed another tb until I can get mine competly rebuilt. Now I cant hear a hiss anymore (my seals were bad on the other one) and I installed new injector insulators upper and lower.

Now my car revs up 300-500 rpm between each shift (something it did on the other tb until I adjusted the stop screw not so noticeable when im not hotrodding it), but I dont think it is the right fix. I still have the high idle 1200- 3000 rpm.

I was just out testing it to 17 psi but I blew the tester apart so I have to go buy some jb weld to bead the pvc cap so I can list results tomorrow.

I need suggestions of what can make me do this. base ignition timing off? maybe swaping injector wires or spark plugs around (im sure i have the right order)? anything. oh and btw i got my boost controller completly installed and set to 15psi.
