Hello, I have just bought my a hallman pro rx mbc, greddy type-s bov, and just about to buy my boost guage. Also within the next few months I'm going to buy a 16g kit and a walbro 255 fuel pump (but currently not going to run with those). Currently I just want to up the boost on the t-25 before I buy the new turbo. I just wanted to know the max boost that the t-25 and my car can handle. I currently have an intake, 3" dp catless, and an apexi n1 catback...

Also, is glow shift a good enough brand to use their boost guage??

my t25 is spiking to 20 and falling back to 15-16 and pulls hard down low, but sucks ass on freeways and when its warm out.. during the night, it pulls way harder cause of the colder air.. cant wait tell i get my 20g in a few weeks

Thank you. I get bored easily and have a digital camera. Dangerous combination. :)

Do you like the ultra hi-tech vacuum hose retention device? I plan on cleaning up a lot of the engine bay this summer, so that's probably going to have to go. :)

Ive never seen a 2g that runs more than 12psi from the factory, are they diffrent in canada?

I guess your elevation would have an effect on the factory boost setting, mine was 13 psi from factory, I've heard others that ran 14 from the factory & some that were only 11 or 12.

PLEASE tell me your kidding, all I can say is you get what you pay for. Also to the poster of this thread, if you take the stock BOV and crush it about 1/8" then they will hold about 22psi-25psi generally, but I wouldnt go about 14psi on a T25, not a very big turbo ya know. Also I wouldnt up the boost on the 16G until you put the wally on and get the engine tuned and a fuel management controller like JayRolla.

You can't crush a plastic bov...

If you have a friend with an evo8 you can use their factory plastic bov for now until you get an upper ic pipe and a better bov (1g greddy s etc), otherwise don't bother trying to crank the boost... it will all leak out.

Shoot don't bother installing the MBC, just pull the restrictor on the BCS and you will get all the boost you need.

this thread is a little old, but i thought i'd still ask. where can you get logging software for only $125? that's sounds very cheap, with my 95 gsx with the factory eprom ecu, i'd still be looking at around $500 for dsmlink.and it sounds like 99% of the people on here use that and are very pleased. so again what logger were you using and where'd you get it for only $125?

thanks, darren
