Is it worth it to get a performance BOV with a T-25 with 85k and turn up boost?

Your 2g BOV will not hold much more than stock boost. Either buy a 1g one (it can hold about 18psi) or just spend money once and get a name-brand one.

But, your T25 will also not be able to make much more than stock boost. If you plan on getting a new turbo, then yes. But, if you plan on sticking with the T25, then either stick with the 2g stock BOV or at the most go for a 1g BOV.

I would say upgrade no matter what. The stock BOV can't hold more than stock pressures. So upping the boost no matter if it's on a T25 or 20G, I think you should upgrade. If you're on a budget, than the 1g BOV is a great choice. You can find them for anywhere for sale. If money isn't an issue than I would go with something along the lines of an HKS SSQV or Greddy Type-S (Used Obviously). I've also been seeing a lot of Greddy Type-RS BOV's around lately.

definetly upgrade your 2g leaky plastic BOV, whether you plan on upping the boost or not. Just make sure and keep it re-circulatable
