system amp wont turn on anymore?

its a sony xplod 600w 4/3 channel, yeah its weak but hey I got it for free..........anyways one day I was jamming out to it messing with the volume and trying to adjust it to where I wanted it to hit and I admit I had it turned up kinda loud and it ended up jus turning off.

I had the remote wire set to my cigarette lighter fuse and I checked the fuses and none of them were blown.

my CD player worked but it was just the amp that didnt turn on anymore and it wasnt hot or smoking.

So I opened up the amp to check it and nothing looked burned inside it, so IDK what happened.

I probably blew the amp..................

anyways I could really use some advice or help

If you're sure you have a good 12v power source, good ground, and 12v on the remote wire and it still doesn't turn on you have a problem inside the amp. Have you tried using a multimeter to tell if you have good power and ground on the above mention wires?

Are there any lights on the amp at all? Could be that you blew a speaker and it is putting the amp into protection. Like was said above get a multimeter and test the connections on the amp to make sure you are getting power and ground to the amp. If you are and your amp is getiing power(lights on) then start disconnecting speakers and one by one hook them up to the amp to see if you have a bad speaker. ALSO CHECK YOUR FUSES ON THE AMP AND MAKE SURE NONE OF THEM ARE BLOWN.
