Hi, i own a 91 galant VR4 and i recently got some pre made piping for FMIC and a FMIC itself and noticed that the new positioning of the BOV makes it so i need more hoses to recirculate it, i say screw that and just go the GM MAF route with a translator.

i also have DSM link on this car, and was wondering what i must do in DSM link to make it work properly? i have yet to use DSMlink as ive only had the car for two days. thanks

i would just recuirc it until you get use to using the dsmlink. then go gm maf and have some fun! good luck!

When you install it the first thing you need to do is go to ecu/logfil and click on miscellaneous. Then a box will pop up and you need to click on ignore iat/baro. You need to do this when the laptop is hooked up to the car with the key on but not running.

Make sure the maft is set for stock 450cc injectors and all other dials are zero with the switches turned off if you are using a 3" maf. There is one switch that needs to be in the on position if you are using a 3.5" maf. I think it is the first but don't quote me on that. The instructions will say which one it is.

Check for boost leaks before doing any driving or tunig. You will most likely have leaks due to have the intercooler piping apart to install this.

Then after you do the idle and cruise tuning you will need to calibrate the maf for WOT tuning.
