swapped awd trans, are diff ratios same?

i swapped a blown engine/5speed on my car with a jdm combo. when test driving the car on a snow covered road the rear tires break free and spin, so as a precaution i haven't had it out on dry pavement yet. are the front and rear diffs compatible ( ratios match) ,is there any give or slippage ,or will i break components? also will i damage anything else? this is my first dsm project and i was lucky to find this site , but the sheer amount of useful info on here is incredible and overwhelming. any and all tips are greatly appreciated and i thank you for your input.

If the car was originaly and auto, the final drive gear in the rear end is different. but its an easy fix, just have to change pumpkins...they bolt right up and use the same drive shaft. good luck

Some JDM tranmissions have a diffrent final drive ratio and wont work with any US rear diff.

i took apart the original trans from my car, there's not much left, i managed to save the center diff, viscous coupling and front diff, but the rest of the parts have been ground to bits. even part of the case is destroyed. now i'm working on removing the jdm trans from my car so that i can take it apart as well and see if the ratios are the same.
update- got lucky ratios are identical, only shifter linkage seems different, i will change it up to a 91 shifter and see what happens.
