Are 2GT FWD & AWD starters the same?

Well I know the Flywheel is different, but does that mean the starter is too?

Yes they are different, not by much but enough where it wont work.

They should be the same I believe the bell housing just offsets the starter form FWD to AWD.

if its a M/T starter it will work on a fwd or awd car if its a M/T. you just cant take an A/T starter and try and put it on a M/T car or vise versa...
