Swap questions

So as most of you probably know by now I have a 94 1.8 Eclipse which as expected has no power. Being that I live in ohio it's entirely rare to find a rust free car that's as old as this but I lucked out. I really wanna swap a 4G63t into it along with a possible AWD swap while I'm at it. So I'm just looking to get a general idea of what my cost will be? Is it similarly expensive as a 420a to 4g63 swap in a 2nd gen?


Also as a side question what seats can swap directly into it? The stock ones just aren't that comfortable

Doing any swap depends on how good you are finding parts and doing stuff yourself for cheap. I have seen guys with nice firebirds and old mustangs that push 500hp with only spending a few thousand dollars. Total outcome price depends on how good you are at bargain shopping. As far as I know all 1g seats will swap out to another. Other then that if you go with an aftermarket seat you will need to look into aftermarket brackets. I am not to good on that always was fine with the stock seats. Here is a link I am sure you can find others for more info if you do some searching. Thanks for the info, for some reason I'm in love with the challenge of a swap. I wanna turn my neon into an srt4 and my eclipse to a 4g63t. Not sure why I don't just buy the cars themselves

Thanks for the links, now I just have to get the money saved up for the swap, I'm hoping to find one with a blown transmission that i could just swap into mine then just rebuild the blown transmission while i work on destroying the 1.8s
