I have a 90 1g with no motor or transmission. I'm looking to do a 4G63 t swap but the only motors i can find have the awd transmission. my 1g is a fwd car. so my question is if i get the 4G63 t with the awd transmission. if i replace the viscous coupler with a Viscous Coupling Eliminator dropped the diff output and seal that up.

how well will it work?
pros and cons?

any help is welcome

Gear ratios are different, however the transmission will work if you seal the hole. Back in the day that is what FWD guys would do snag a built awd trans and rock it. That of course was before Shep and the bunch started doing fwd stuff..
