Hello,

Looking to see if anyone can help me on a problem I am having with a 1996 Eclipse suspension I think. When I put on the 16” regular rims that the car comes with it, the tire will sit straight in the middle of the tire.

When I put on some 18” rims, the tire will sit on the inside of the tire and not on the center of the tire. Could it be that I need to get some other type of shocks and struts to fix this problem.

Below is a pic of what I mean when I put on the 18” rims. You can see that it is sitting on the inside of the tire and wearing it out very quickly.

Any help is greatly appreciated. :)

Do you have a stock suspension or is it lowered? If it is lowered you need to buy a camber kit and get an alignment.
