suspension frustration is it all 4gs?

I am new to the dsm click and one month in to this 97 awd tsi suspension is starting to go down hill. Any other problems anyone knows about for this year and model? 220 on block. Rebuilt head from previous owner.and already a valve issue? Any one with some positive incite post a msg

You do keep in mind that you have a 14 year old car with 220,000 miles, it's going to need some maintenance.

Here is some positive insight...it's a car, it's 14 years old, crap breaks, it's not going to be better on the other side of the fence so stop being bothered by it and just fix it.

Stock suspension? I don't know, those type of parts can wear off depending on who drove it, especially if there's 220 on the block. Do you know who rebuilt the head? You know the type or parts where used? Maybe he's at fault in this.

Are you on a completely stock set up is the first question you should answer. If not post a list of mods.

These cars are good and reliable as long as you do maintenance. Maybe you need a Honda

suspension wise i would either,
a)replace with tokico blues...$88/strut and eibach sportline $166/set
or...
b)godspeed adjustable coilovers $500/set
