420A Sunroof wont open

Hey guys, my sunroof wont open .. when i hit the button to move it back it just makes a tick sound once then stops. I checked to see if it was on track and if the fuses were fine and they are, what could be causing this? please help. Thanks.

While pushing the button for it to open, try applying slight pressure to the sunroof basically giving it a jump start and see if it helps.

I have the same issue as you. What is wrong with mine is the actual clip that holds the cable to the guide is broken. I have yet to get a new rail but with an almost 20 year old car, I'd try to get the guides from somewhere other than a junk yard.
