. But just like xinfiniter said.....mine was the cables. They need to be greased every few years aparently and they had probably never been ( i had just bought the car,
, i guess it wanted to reassure me that i was driving a real dsm). But they were really rusted and that caused them to strip. I had also thought it was that dumb pin....so i jb welded it in...dunno if it was a proble or not, but its fixed now
