Stuttering problem at 5500

I am really confused. I have already searched and so far everything hasnt fixed it. When i am at WOT and i hit around 5500 it just starts popping and sputtering. This happens no matter what boost it is at. I have done a boost leak test and everything is sealed, compression fine, Plugs gapped right, I tried C.O.P. and the stock coil pack same result, fuel pressure good. I cant figure it out, any ideas or thoughts would be a real help.

its not some kind of launch control kicking in is it? Like a studderbox in dsmlink not set up properly...?

Will it continue to rev, or does it just hold at 5500?

I had the same problem, and my plug gap was fine (or so I thought)at .028... I replaced the plughs with the same ones, but gapped them down to .022 and it solved my problem. I used the copper ngk 7's... try it, even if your plugs look fine...

Sorry i was busy working all day, and my garage door broke so my car cant get out so i didnt get a log today. I will try to gap them down further and try it out tommorow, But ya other then this studder the car runs perfectly

Mine did the same thing and I changed to a colder plug and a smaller gap. I'm running E85
