i really know that i could find this out myself if i was too lazy, but what size are the speakers in the backseat of a 95 talon (with absolutely no audio upgrade, its got a damn tape deck)?. i dont really want to do a lot to the stereo system with subs or anything (id rather put money into the engine), but the factory ones make me want to :barf: and theyre driving me insane. I just want to get some nice speakers in back there without having to do any major work. what do you guys have in your cars and how much did they cost.

oh yeah, would updating the wiring to those speakers when i replace them be really hard, or would it really be worth it at all?

thanks for answering such a dumb question, right now im too afraid of electrical stuff because i dont know anything about it, and i dont have any hands on experience with it.

and no, there would be absolutely no sense replacing the stock wiring. just swap out the speakers and be done with it.

if u get newer more powerful speakers like i did you'll prolly have to hammer out the wheel wheel from teh inside just to get the fricken things to fit good :| the magnet is bigger on better new ones than the stock ones, just a heads up :thumb:

I put Pioneer TS-A1681R 6.5's in my rears. The magnet is small enough to fit in the space and they're pretty powerful at 260 watts. i used the clips they give you in the package, and they mounted in almost perfectly. they had to mounted slightly askew from the stock holes, but pretty much perfect. I just finished mine yesterday, so if you have any questions, ask me. This speaker is actually on sale right now on cardomain.com for $65.00 a pair http://www.cardomain.com/item/PIOTSA1681R?ref=prgr

i wanted a little more bass so I installed 4 way pioneer 6 by 9s in the back..i just shaved out the holes a little bit and blam..they sound great too!

:dsm: I work at Bates Electronics in Ada, OK. We do a lot of car audio, although I work in the cellphone dept., I know a little about what they do in the garage. ;) Anyway I have found an awesome sight that our guys use to check for stock wiring, intall kits, wiring harnesses, and stock speaker specs. Try it out its pretty easy. Just pick your make, model, and trim. Hope it helps! :thumb:
