ok so i bought this 98 Gst and it is so clean the engine has a nice fresh rebuild and even a nice built bottom end.
I have been using it for my DD while i am building my Talon. So the eclipse has a CX Racing 16g knock off tdo5h whatever i am thinking sweet right? NOT! yeah i have been noticing some grey smoke come out of my exhaust, in my rear view mirror. anyway i had the boost set at 15-16lbs, and since I noticed that smoke, I got here and did some reading, on the smoke. and came up with a few diff. solutions....
1st my rings are bad, but wait its supposed to have cp pistons put in about 5000 miles ago.
2nd my seals are bad, but wait the engine was just rebuilt.
3rd the pcv is clogged and needs to be changed, took it off and the only thing i could think of is to blow through it and see if i can feel the air coming through, and i can.
4th maybe the breather is not letting the pressure out causing pressure problems. But it just has a vacume line about 8 in long and it is not clogged at all. so it def is not causing any pressure build up there.
5th i take my air intake off the turbo inlet and check the shaft play, and the freaking wheel feels like it is going to freaking pull out of the housing, and i am like WTF.
So i have come to the conclusion change the dang Turbo and see what happens. what to you guys think

, i do still have the 14b off the talon, screw it i will just wait for the new 16g to come in,
i am just going to restore it while i drive the eclipse everyday to work.
