Stupid question but..

Don't worry how long it takes. Just put it all back together properly the first time so you don't have to do it again or buy more parts ;)

Ps - kind of a stupid question LOL

It truly could be any of those! If everything goes correctly and you have done engine rebuilding before, I bet you could do it in two days. But someone who is slow and try to make sure everything is correct like me, I'm on a month on my build..

So in all honesty, it depends how much you do a day and if everything goes as planned! (which I always plan for the worst, damn DSM)

My first and only rebuild took me about 1 full day assemble with most of the parts and tools available. What takes the most time is measuring all the clearances twice, but once that's done you have a better idea of how the engine is supposed to be put together. Do take your time though and go through everything twice. Good luck!

Plastigauge!!!

One, two days tops. But if you're running around and taking stuff to get hot tanked, or bored out, or whatever at the machine shop you could be a month easy.
