Yes, there is. The factory head comes with a 3 angle valve job. There is also a 5 angle valve job.

Better flow around the valve and better sealing of valve to seat.

If you're rebuilding a head, it's something to consider. I would go with whatever your machinist reccomends for your application.

This is not something that is worth tearing a motor down to do. Or paying a lot more for.
