Ok guys im stumped. I am far from a newbie to DSMs and have built a few 4g63s with no problems. Until now. I just got my 92 GS put back together after the HG blew. Car ran great before. I had the head surfaced by a well know machine shop in my area and know its straight.
The timing is perfect I have checked it 3 times. Head bolts were torqued in steps of 30 60 80. Pulled the CAS and turned it and all injectors are firing as well as all the plugs. Replaced HG, bolts, cams, valve seals(viton) plugs, wires, fuel filter and still nothing. Car has great fuel pressure. It bucks and spits while cranking but wont start.
I pulled the plugs and they were wet but when I tried to burn the fluid off it wouldn't burn. Seems to have great compression but haven't done a test yet because I don't have a compression tester untill tomorrow. My guess is water or oil is finding its way into the combustion chamber. Any thoughts help because i am stumped
