Last winter i bought a 95 tsi with a blown headgasket. replaced it and it ran fine all winter long. now that its 90* outside some times it wont start after i drive around for 20mins then stop to get something to eat maybe 10mins. come back to the car and crank on it ,start pumping the gas pedal for 10sec and it slowly comes to life but idles very crapy but eventually settles and runs fine it has alot of power so i dont think its timing changed fuel pump filter plugs wires. it only does it when its hot. in the mornings it fires right up

I've geard the "hotstart" problem is common in DSM's but I thought it was
more a 1g issue. The basic 1000 already answered questions will cover this
for sure. My car did the same exact thing and some new NGK 6's w/ wires
fixed mine but I know you said yours are new also. So i'm not sure what to tell
you except make sure the plugs are decent and gapped correctly.

I got some brand new bosch wires and denso plugs gapped at .035'' per autozone's tech manual. i know its gettin spark i was jus wondering maybe the injectors are messed up. there are no codes

.35????
Plug specifications from the owners manual and chiltons all say .28-.30
Change that and get back w/ us

Ok i just went out and gapped the plugs to .030'' i think im gonna try and clean the TB and do the EGR block off thingy. where is the EGR located
