My engine mounts are worn so I figure now is the perfect time to stuff the engine mounts with some rubber /poly material, is there any point in buying brand new mounts or is it alright to just re-stuff my old worn mounts and bring em back to life?

Unless there's a problem with the mount itself, I don't see a need to buy new ones. Or if you have problems with the rubber of the front or rear mounts, you might want to consider new ones, since Prothanes/Energy Suspension just make inserts for these (not a full replacement like the drivers and tranny mount).

Just burn out the old ones and replace them with polys. Your axles will thank you.
