I went to change my blown front dampers with the GR-2s sitting in my garage and the bolt that holds the brake cable bracket to the shock just turns like it is stripped both passanger and drivers side! Any help would be greatly appreiciated

You can try to wedge a screwdriver behind it and apply pressure to the backside of the bolt while trying to turn it out.

If that doesn't work you can try and break the bolt off in the strut and replace the bolts.

If you can't break the bolt you can cut the head off or cut the bracket on the strut and get the bolt out on the bench.

I only suggest breaking/cutting the bolt because you will be throwing the old strut away and a bolt is easily replaced. Good luck.

Remember not to cut into the shock itself as it is gas charged and under pressure.
