I am rebuilding a 4g63 bottom up and since i was wanting to make some big hp i will need a nice size turbo. I was looking for a stroker kit to help spool that big snail and get some added torque. I have seen some remaned kits on sbr but i've herd the cranks don't hold up well???

What exactly is your question here? As far as what stroker kit to go with, I have chosen to go with the FFWD stroker kit. It's a little more pricey than the SBR kit, but it comes fully balanced with quality parts. I am also electing to have my crankshaft butcherized, or knife edged.

Really? My crank is an SBR reman. If you want piece of mind have the crank magnafluxed to check for any cracking or just pick up a new crank or one from a junkyard.

All cranks hold up well. You will be fine.

On a side note took a spin in a 2.3 stoker with a 16g. 1st gear was a rocket, no boost lag at all, put it into second and that turbo was dead. So slow, that motor needs a huge turbo.

Even my 50 trim isn't enough although it feels great and holds 27 psi to redline. Come on 60-1!

I don't even want to talk about how bad the 16G was. Pretty much just as Jason described it.

Funny thing is my buddy is dropping a 7bolt 2.3 stroker, 8.8:1 wiseco pistons and forged rods. Also a rebuilt head with stainless valves, crower springs, and 280/280 cams. All this with a 14b and no EM at all. Thats turbo is going to run out of breath by 2000rpms. LOL
