If the bolt is stripped you should buy a new bolt. If it's a hole the bolt goes in, you can usually fix it with a Helicoil. Take the bolt for the stripped hole to NAPA & buy the proper size Helicoil kit. It should have all the specific matched sized thing needed to do the repair along with the instrucion on how to do it.

What is the "Crankwalk bolt"? Please explain so I would know.

Helicoils use special taps (ITR taps). Regular taps don't work. A Helicoil kit will have the proper tap matched to the internal thread size Helicoil. McMaster.com has info (search helicoils) & YouTube is your friend.

You need a M12x1.25mm Helicoil and proper sized drill bit

I think Tim means a 8x1.25 helicoil kit. Drop the trans and take it somewhere to be done if you are not 100% car confident. It's easy to do it crooked or drill though into the insides.

Oops, sorry, Kurt is right, I was thinking of the rear trans mount bolts (same as the tcase bolts), the bolt that goes through the rear block tab is a M8x1.25mm bolt.

You would need the M8x1.25mm helicoil as a blind hole tap helicoil with a 8.4mm drill bit.

The larger M12x1.25mm bolts for the rear motor mount, front motor mount, trans mount and transfer case bolt holse uses a 31/64" drill bit with the helicoil set.
