Stripped down pipe nuts

So I just bought this 90 eclipse gsx and I am having some trouble trying to get the exhaust that the guy before me put on. The nut on the bottom is stripped i have tried pounding on a socket and nothing I wasn't sure if I should just drop the o2 housing and try grinding it off or if anybody has any suggestions i could try. Thank you.

You can buy special sockets that are used to remove stripped bolts and nuts from advance or any auto parts store. Try to spray penetrating oil for a couple of days too. Here is an example Buy Irwin Expansion 5 Pc Set Pliers 394002 at Advance Auto Parts

I have a gator grip too.That works..You could always pull the turbine housing off with the DP and o2..That works if everything is freaking rusted together.Case in point 20 +year old cars.

Yeah I am getting ticked off at it i just bought the car and the guy before me had a three inch straight pipe on it and it sounds awful. i am just trying to get my n1 on it.
