Strength of 2g fwd tranny's

Well i'm coming from a mustang and those tranny's are actually pretty dang rock solid. I was curious what kind of torque and horsepower will these trannys take with a good racing clutch and hard launches? I mean it's fwd and kinda pointless to drag race but just curious how far you can go. I'm guessing the axles break first but if you got some really strong axles and a racing clutch with clutch dumps on drag radials will the tranny last? This is pertaining to my 95 gst fwd.

People usually don't upgrade their tranny (ie stronger gears, shift forks, etc) unless it's worn out and needs a rebuild or makes 400+ hp. Stock axles are ok too, the weak link is the stock diff. I broke my diff on a hard launch. Sticky track + drag radials + wheel hop = blown up diff.
