60-130 is not great because this was from a track pull so it has 2 shifts in there and I lifted on both like an idiot LOL. I have the 2.97 1st gear in my T56 so it needs a shift (3/4) before 130mph and that's the crappy shift too with this trans because of the ratio. I can do the 60-130 with one shift but I haven't attempted to do it yet on the kill tune. But all the math says it should be in the mid 4s area.

Yes the T4 and 3" exhaust are hindering power, but I will leave it as is until I upgrade the turbo, then I will do a 4" DP but even then, I may neck it down as I want to retain full exhaust so that may get tricky. It's working for now though. I feel the 75 turbine wheel is more hindering than the 3" DP. Boost was 20/21 tapering to 18/19 on the dyno. At the track I am only seeing that 20psi boost in 4th though so there's plenty to be gained in the first half of the track if its prepped and I can pour all the power in immediately after launch. Fun stuff.

4 sec 60-130 is f***in bonkers. Seriously. Especially in a manual!

Obviously your car, your choice. But -- in cheap ass DSMer fashion (me)-- I'd skip the larger turbo for now before going bigger on the downpipe. You can get away with the smaller turbine wheel if get your arms around exhaust pressure after the tubine.

As you know, coyotes need biiiiig exhaust because they flow so much air on that side of the valve.

If you didn't have stiffer valve springs (which I believe you do in your built motor) you'd be floating the valves for sure at 14-15 psi with that tiny exhaust. Ive been there.

Can you get a t6 hot side for that turbo?

I am not sure Dom. Remember my turbo is ooooold. It's a Gen 1 PTE 7675 that came out over 10 years ago. I don't think they made a T6 for these but I will research. I am also curious whether the new next gen 75 housings would work on it. I saw they had a divided 1.32 but it costs a penny. Like you, I am very budget oriented. That's why I built this car myself. Most Coyote people (even shops!) pay other people to do almost everything for them. I even tune this car myself. I am still learning but that's the DSM'r in me to do everything on my own. The only skill I don't have is welding and fabrication. Even that, I want to learn eventually before I get too old.

Wish you were closer! I have the welding and fab part covered. I'd love to bend your ear and learn about tuning the coyote.

Almost race season and I have done absolutely nothing with the car other than just drive it. :applause::rocks: I am doing an oil change this weekend. I have put roughly 1300 miles on the car since the rebuild. I am going to run VR1 10W-30. I bought a couple more wastegate springs so I can just run the car on gate instead of running the MBC which can be a little inconsistent. There's also one more thing I am going to experiment. I would like to test all this on the dyno sometime in March and see what changes they make. I did make a slight change to the tune but nothing drastic. Hopefully I will get a chance to hit the track in March for TNT. Track is open tomorrow but I am just not ready yet and I may not have time to go anyway.

A month later update. I have just been lazy here and not done anything with or to the car. There have been a few track worthy days the past few weeks but I was not ready to go just yet. I don't like wasting time and money to go to the track so I usually wait until I am ready. I need to book dyno time to dial in some changes I have made. Then I will have confidence to schedule a track TNT. I want to do this while the DA is still favorable before summer. I don't like racing when it's hot. It's also bad for any performance vehicle as you all know. As mentioned prior in this build thread, I just have one more notch to mark for this car and that is a 9 sec pass off the street on the DOTs. After that, I will be content and just detune the car to say 600whp and just enjoy it for the street car it is.

Had the car on the dyno today to dial in some changes I made. Dyno was not cooperating. I managed just 1 pull at 19psi and it made 1020whp with the $11 Amazon air filter in place. There is something I noted in the tune that I need to address, otherwise, it's ready for 2026. I just want one pass to say 9.xx on the slip and this car project is done! Oh...got off the dyno and drove it to work like a real STREET CAR does! :rocks::rocks::rocks::rocks::sneaky:
