Hey guys so my background i first got into the dsm world before i ever owned one, my grandma always drove a white eagle talon at the time i loved to ride in it never knew what it really was and i always joked with her telling her i want to buy it one day. so when i finally turned 18 and the car just sat there i finally talked her into selling it to me for 500 bucks. towed it home (dead battery) and when i got home i looked them up online and seen what these cars could do. also learned there are turbo all wheel drive models, so i ran outside and looked and sure enough it said "tsi" on the back and i was in love. sadly about 2 years of owning it i lost my job and was forced to sell it. then got into the diesel world and that sure is not cheap, so now to my current car i was driving to work one day and noticed a red gsx with 4 flat tires and a bunch of moss on it so i thought i could get a good deal. talked to the owner and i ended up getting it for 300 bucks. everything but the turbo and injectors were there. its a auto, at first that was sad to find out but now i am glad it is with how much power they can take for pretty cheap.

well from then till now i stripped out all the insides, pulled the motor and tranny, axles, bla bla bla. and painted it black i have this one picture but now its finished ill get more with the bumpers on. i cant take credit for the paint job on the body. i made friends with a guy at my new job that just left a body shop after 35 years. so need less to say he walked me though all the prep work and he sprayed the body i did all the bumpers and trim.

also i just ordered all the clutches in the transmission, transmission pan gasket, 3 gauge vent pod, 5 speed ecu waiting for them in the mail

Always good to see another dsm brother return. The scene has been slowing down quite a bit so the more returning dsmers the better.

What are your plans for the build?

Thanks I'm sure this will be one slow build I'm not making the money I use to, my plans right now are to get a built motor I'm looking at boostin performance stage 2 head and a short block and I have my hx35 from the dodge still so I want to figure out how to tune with that. Then I want to shoot for 600hp on maybe a hx40 or a different turbo I'm still open to ideas, it will just be a weekend car that I drag maybe once or twice a year. I was going to build the motor myself but it's almost looking cheaper to just get one from them I couldn't believe the prices.

update so far, going kinda slow as hours slow down at work, but i got a m/t ecu stock, bought a end clutch kit, kiggly front clutches, installed the end clutches today i will try to do the front tomorrow. pulled out the center diff and i will be sending that off here soon to get welded. that's all for now, i plan on getting a shift kit, shift box next. i want to get the transmission ready then ill have the machine work for the motor done

thank you, i plan on ordering more from you guys got a few parts I've been eye balling on your site. cars on a temp hold i just bought a new 2016 dart, ill have it paid off soon so i can start waiting money on the dsm again
