Over last winter I tore the motor down because I blew an oil line and developed a knock/loud tick. Only did a stock refresh as money was tight at the time. One thing i was concerned about was the scarring on the oil pump but haven't had any issues with oil pressure so I guess it's good. Did some cheap and free mods like balance shaft delete, got a set of evo beehive springs and aluminum retainers, ported the head, knife edged, polished the combustion chambers, painted the block, got the valve cover powder coated as well. After the whole tear down and refresh I never found any problem inside and I'm thinking it was just air in the lifters. I was so worried I didn't run it after I heard the noise I just shut it off and started pulling the engine but probably didn't have to. At least I know my motor it's healthy now. But here are some pictures.

Another mod is the 3g tiptronic shifter wired into the forced four shift box. Put it in drive and it runs like normal off the TCU. Push the shift lever over to tiptronic and that is essentially the toggle switch to activate the shift box to use slap shift one of the best mods I think I've done honestly sure beats having buttons to shift gears and having a toggle switch to turn the shift box on and off Now I just need to get a different shift knob for it.

Hid projector retrofit. Mini h1 projectors, hella gen 3 ballasts, halo rings, painted housings, painted shrouds. Great lighting upgrade

So i havent posted in quite a while so here's what i Recently got, some lightweight goodies for the car.
Carbonetics Talon AR Kit

Rota Slipstreams with M&H slicks
Also built a turbo back exhaust as well. 3" vband vibrant ultra quiet resonator and thermal R&D muffler.

The direction of the build is starting to change if you can't tell. I wanted to just go fast and have a clean stockish look but that got kinda boring so now I'm shooting for looks but still gonna be pretty quick for a pretty tame street car.

Just a note. I like reading builds but what i like more is when people make the pics large in the post and not thumbnails! It makes me not click the oics as much. When you upload them click the full image button by the thumbnails or at the top of them all use the insert all as full images. Its nicer to view and i know im not the only one thinking this

The rotas are 15x8 with 235/60 15. I got them used with maybe 4 passes on them for 700bucks

Its not picking or anything specific but sometimes on my phone alot of times it does not allow me to click and scroll through them so going back and clicking another takes time and is annoying so i give up and move on i think big pics sre better to view on the post anyway myself. More detail and can still zoom in further.
