Ok i got everthing back together.. started it up heard some goofey noise, so i pulled the upper cover and the belt was hot, i couldnt even touch it.. and it slipped off the cam pulley's about 1/16th of an inch.. so i push it back on fire back up same issue it slide's back off..

so im thinking.. Maybe a bad idler or tensioner pulley? why would the t-belt heat up enough so it would be very hot and slide off the gears, Please feel free to give any input thats why im posting because i need a second opinion.

Was the sound a really loud whine? From your description it sounds like your T-Belt is way way too tight. I saw similar problems on a friends car and after we set the timing again the problem went away.

ya what i did was run it without a cover on it.. the tensioner pully was catching on the pully bracket and basically wasnt spinning.. so i ground it down and replaced the pully and called it good.. and she run's like a champ..
