Stock VW Beetle Turbo beat me????? NO WAY!!!

So I'm driving around minding my own business and I see a MetallicBlue Volkswagen beetle. He changes lanes as if he wants to race or something and I hear a loud ass bov. We're now head to head. He downshifts, I stay in 3rd (cause I didn't want to race) He steps on it and so do I. He takes me by about 2 cars. Then he wanted to race again. This time I shift into 2nd and so does he. When I noticed him flooring it I floored it too. I took him by 1 car but by the time I shifted into 3rd (from 5000rpm) he passed me. I was like


People say that his car is stock but still my car is supposed to be faster. But on the other hand my car experienced extreme heat soak during this event. But still........ no way!!!!!

Anybody have any idea what could be wrong with my car? It's stock and running 15psi. How can I make sure it's running properly (as it's supposed to) without taking it to the quarter mile strip?

Stop listening to other people, what makes you think there is something wrong with your car and his IS stock, you said you heard a loud BOV, so maybe he is mod'd.

Here is what is wrong, you have no mods, your street race, and you expect other to find out with is wrong with your stock car from others from the simple fact that you lost a race.

Let me ask you a question.... Why am I not inn the 10's on the strip with my mod'd car?
